Summer Camp 8 – Anima-topia

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until August 27, 2021
Calling all Budding Artists! If you like art, this camp is for you! Every week we have a different theme. Kids will learn new techniques in Pottery Painting, Acrylic on Canvas, Clay Hand Building, Glass Fusing and Candle Making.
***We are running our camps in a safe environment with a very small class. The studio will only open for the kids at the camp, no other adults will be allowed. No food or drink is allowed except for a small bottle of juice or water. The children will need to wear a mask for the whole duration. Younger kids 6 to 8 years will meet MWF from 9 to 11AM, Big Kids from 8 years and up will meet T Th from 9 to 11AM.
Younger Kids: Monday: Make a Textured Owl Dish from Clay
Wednesday: Not a Piggy Bank. Paint a piggy bank into a dog, cat or any animal you like.
Friday: Create a beautiful painting of a Bear with hand made paper flowers.
Older Kids: Tuesday: Make a container or mug with 3D animal from Clay
Thursday: Using Cobblestone Specialty Paint to make a textured Sheep Dish.
