Clay Hand Building and Wheel Throwing

This is a two(2) hour workshop with our professional clay instructor. During the first hour, you will learn hand-building techniques creating unique art pieces with clay. You can choose to make functional pieces or decorative sculptures. In the second hour, we will cover the basis of wheel throwing through demonstration and one-on-one teaching. At the end of the workshop, you will pick 2 pieces from the hand-building technique and 2 pieces from the wheel to be fired to bisque. You can return to the studio anytime to paint your pieces.

Classes start at $160 for 2 people and $70 per additional person.

The cost includes instructions, all materials and tools, and two firings (the first firing of the clay to bisque and a second firing after the pieces are painted). Once the items are fired, we will notify you and you can come back to paint your items. If you cannot finish painting in one sitting, you can come back again and pay the studio fee of $7.50 per person.

If you register with more than 2 people, we can adjust the duration of the class so that everyone will have enough time to practice on the wheel.

Deposit

Deposits are non-refundable. Do realize there’s lots of planning, scheduling, supply prep and setup prior to our workshops. Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend and there are no refunds.

You can move your date once 2 weeks before your original date without penalty.
Store credit for your deposit is issued if you cancel your workshop with at least a 2-week notice.

If you cancel your booking at any time within 2 weeks, your deposit will be forfeited.
