Stoneware bisque pieces are functional, durable, and suitable for various uses in the kitchen, such as in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Once decorated, the stoneware bisque pieces are fired again, this time to a higher temperature range of cone 5-6. This final firing melts the glazes, creating a smooth, glossy surface and permanently adhering them to the pottery. The result is a finished piece of functional and aesthetically pleasing stoneware pottery ready for use or display.
We have many different glazes and techniques that make your piece unique and amazing. No two pieces will look the same. This is a really fun and relaxing class! $8 studio fee plus the cost of the piece you choose.
